  • New or Newer Fences 6 - 24 months old

    If your fence has been recently installed and starting to show signs of mold growth already. We will clean the fence before staining. These are fences that are typically  no more than 1 year to 2 years old. Transparent Oil Based Stains will highlight the beauty of the wood and also offer great protection against mother nature.

  • Fences Older than 2 years or Never Stained

    Typically after cleaning these fences it is best to do a brightening treatment if you want to do a transparent stain. If using a Semi-transparent Oil Base Stain the brightening treatment is not needed. 

  • My fence was previously stained:

    If your fence was previously stained by yourself or another professional: we will do an inspection first. Some instances we may be able to just do a fresh coat to bring the beauty back to life. Other cases we may have to apply a Wood Cleaner/Stripper to remove the old stain before applying a new Oil Base Stain or Solid Stain if preferred. 

  • I am not sure when my fence was stained last?

    A common problem we see here in Oklahoma is moving into a new house and finding out your fence needs to be stained. We have been staining fences, decks, pergolas and exterior wood trim since 2013. So, we have seen just about it all. A lifelong friend of Nick's, who is more like a brother than a friend. Together, they have led this industry since 2013. He is a Mustang native, along with his wife and 2 growing children. A self-proclaimed farmer in process, but a true lifelong entrepreneur.

History Of Our Story

Started in 2013

The vision started with Okie Stainers in 2013 when Nick and Louis decided to leave the Oilfield and become Fence Staining Experts and while working out of Nick's garage.

2015 Expansion Begins

February of 2015, Central Oklahoma Fence Staining approaches Nick and Louis and a deal is negotiated. Nick and Louis now own Okie Stainers and Central Oklahoma Fence Staining, at the time the top two fence staining companies by volume of stain sold and fences stained.

 Formed Them Stain Guys 2016

In Mid 2016, we decided to merge together Okie Stainers and Central Oklahoma Fence Staining to form Them Stain Guys. We needed a name that we could be the only name you would think of when staining your next project.
